miclandis Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Have to plot 100+ drawings to PDF for review and distribution in meeting. PDF's will be transmitted to and printed by Fedex Office at remote location. When selecting DWG->PDF or Adobe PDF as plotter and selecting monochrome output, the colors in the original drawing are represented as shades of grey as opposed to being all black. When previewed for printing on local laser printer all lines are black and print black. How can I set up the plotting to keep all black lines on PDF output file via a global autocad setting? I also need to eliminate all layer info on the PDF files as it serves no purpose in this case. Quote
nestly Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 One method: 1) Create (or copy) a Paperspace Layout 2) Select all layers in the Layer Manager and apply a VP override for layer color so they're all color "white" 3) Publish (not plot) your drawing layout to PDF and used the "Publish Options" button which will allow you to Include or Dont Include Layer information. BIGAL Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Just use plot and save a new CTB, Edit the colours 1-250 to be black pick 1 hold down shift scroll down pick 250 colour black. This way you can have some greys 251-254. Quote
miclandis Posted June 17, 2014 Author Posted June 17, 2014 Thanks - Modified monochrome ctb and now no greyscale. Quote
