Add an angle constraint and then Drive Constraint

or

in Environments>Dynamic Simulation add a Rolling Cylinder on Cylinder joint and then Imposed Motion on Revolution joint.

If you can't figure it out - simply attach your assembly here.

You have attached the wrong files which will result in a delay in getting an answer.

Have you installed all Service Packs for r2013? (the correct answer is - no)

Hi Mather,

The file is a little bit big and I can not attached it, I used Pack and go but is still big.

I will put the Assembly and the Part in the attachment.

Here is what I have.

I did not installed it my self, we have a staff in the company which have access in order to install or modify applications.

---------------------------- Edit ---------------------

Is there a step by step tutorial to do it ?

Thank you :)

Step 1

Right click on you Design Accelerator sub-assembly and set it to Flexible as shown below.

You should now be able to drag the gear motion.

Next I will demonstrate how to Drive the motion.

(also notice in the image above your assembly references Part8, yet you attached a Part1?)

Thank you very much JD Mather  , I can rotate the Gear :celebrate:

I am so happy to see the Gears rotating, but I want to add some Gears and V-Belt to make something more complicate.

How can I add Gear or V-Belt to existing one, I have tried but I am sure it's not a the good way to do it  as you can see in the picture:

Thank you :)

Notice that your gears created by the Design Accelerator are placed in a special sub-assembly in the browser and must be created in pairs.

I simply drill down and get the *.ipt files and use these like any other parts in my own assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Is that correct?

I tried to move the Spur Gear1:1 which is in red square to the Spur Gears:1 ( the special sub-assembly ) but it does not want to move, even if I change the name.

Thank you for your help and your patience :)
