Hi All,

I am experiencing an interesting problem in Inventor!!!

Have you noticed when you measure the angles on your isometric views it is wrong! Instead of being 60 and 120 degree it's got a funny dimensions!!!

Please see below and the attached files.

Are you using True dimension type or are you using Projected dimension type?

It is not only about that when you export it as DWG the angles are not right!

I still have this problem unsolved!

To me it is a big problem. Just draw something in Inventor then export it to dwg file to see.

Try edit view. select the change view orientation icon, select the isometric view corner on the view cube, then select Finish Custom View. See if that corrects your drawing view.

No mate,

This is an internal error in Inventor and apparently nobody has noticed this yet!

I copied this from Inventor 2015 to AutoCad, and I also see a difference.

So at least you know your not crazy.

I know!

I am going to raise it in Autodesk Forum

As noted on the AutoDesk Forum, the problem is with the projected ISO views.

If the baseview ISO Top Right is chosen, then you get nice square angles.

This isn't a big issue for me, but I find it interesting.

It's fixed in Autodesk Inventor 2016
