Line Types Change in Layout

I have drafted a drawing using different line types for Utilities. For Example, Elec Cable Dashed and Tele Comm Dashed etc. However, in Layout Mode they are just shown as solid lines and defeats the purpose of having differentiated them. Please advise.

It's common for this to happen.

 

Set MSLTSCALE = 1.

Set PSLTSCALE = 1.

Set LTSCALE to either 0.5 or 1.

Thanks Re Mark - that may be useful for other lines but I have realised my mistake. I had them all under one layer and had just changed the line types. Once I gave each utility a separate layer the lines appear fine in Layout. I dont understand why Model lets you do this when Layout wont display it!

But it does with the correct settings. Changing the linetypes by layer or by object should yield the same results unless you are changing the linetype by viewport. Then it wouldn't show in model space or other viewports.
