im trying to set up a drawing to print in paperspace. i have the plotter set at ansi b 11x17 portrait orientation. when i got to print preview, the sheet size doesnt represent a sheet that is 11x17 and thus my viewports overhang and get cut off. what im i doing wrong here?

Did you set it to 11x17 in the page setup manager? You may also want to check the size in the custom properties. Hope this may help.

I can't imagine what setting is wrong are you sure you have the 11x17 selected, I think the preview is set from the page size set.

 

what does it show in the preview window for the paper size?

everything show 11x17. could it be that im not in the lab where the actual plotter is located? im working on my laptop at home

that is exactly wut is shows in the plot set up. when i go to preview, its cut off. even in paper space it doesnt measure 11x 17

No doesn't matter paper size and printer info is from the print driver and setup.

 

I can't visualize what it is that your saying is cut off, can you post a sreen shot, is it something like this?

my page is set vertically. i hav 2 10 1/4 wide by 7 1/2 vp views set in paper space. they simply dont fit on the sheet size shown. it measures somthn close to 11w x close to 15 1/2h

is it the orientation that is set wrong , for the verticle ???
