bmw1789 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Does anyone know of a place online I can go and there is an organized way of searching customized diesel macros and or macros that I can copy an place them in my autocad when I create a new command? For example..there are a lot of things I would like to search through and just evaluate whether I could make use of it or not. Maybe something's that gives a description and then has the macro available to copy right under/beside it. Any thoughts? Quote
BIGAL Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 http://www.Lee-mac.com is a good starting place. Quote
steven-g Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 You would be better searching directly for answers to specific questions, there are a number of good papers on the basics (and advanced techniques) but I can't think of any specialised libraries. Here on CADTutor there have been a couple of discussions on macro's you may find something there. Quote
MSasu Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 One observation; please pay attention that OP is listing LT as his/her software, so AutoLISP suggestion will be, unfortunately, pointless. Quote
steven-g Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Lee does cover the basics of scripting and Diesel Quote
Tuns Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 You'd benefit more from learning how to write a macro instead of copying and pasting one. If you know how to write one, you can make it specific to what you need. Quote
BIGAL Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 There are some sneaky methods of doing stuff in excel then cutting and pasting to your commnad line all the steps as if they were individual commands as a example a list of x y z co-ords use excel to make Pline 112,111 123,56 345,67 c Quote
YZ Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 The only online list of Diesel I have found is here: http://www.upfrontezine.com/tailor/tailor17.htm Apart from that the web is almost silent. That is one language that is left to the user to fumble around. But, as mentioned above, the more specific you can be in what you want to achieve then you will find that you will solve it yourself using the fragments of example you can read online. Quote
steven-g Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 You can look here as well,http://cadingandcoding.blogspot.be/search/label/DIESEL just a shame this guy appears to have stopped posting a couple of years ago, he has some really advanced stuff going on here. Quote
Tyke Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Dietmar Rudolph also has some Diesel examples, here's the link: http://www.crlf.de/Dokumente/Diesel/Diesel.html Quote
