I have been experimenting with a title block with attributes and wouldn't you know it, the second I put it out to general usage it goes wrong :x

BROKEN TITLE.png

The text THIS SHOULDN'T BE HERE is obviously the problem, but both in size and position, it should be left justified towards the top of the Title box.

I have opened the block and the attribute is where I want it. I Ran ATTSYNC and BATTMAN -> Sync in block editor then again outside of the block editor to no avail. Then I tried ATTSYNC in model space, nothing happened, but when I do BATTMAN -> SYNC in model space it corrects the text size and position but when I click OK to come out of the dialoge box it goes back to where it was before.

Any help appreciated as I don't use attributes that often or in that much depth.

You should use use unique tags for each attribute, Autocad gets confused, besides if you need to ever extract attributes then they certainly need to be unique.

Thanks Steven I'll give that a try in the morning. Never really been taught how to use attributes, I amended someone else title block to make it a bit easier to use. I've never had any problems with the original or my amended one until I published it for use by the department. Typical isn't it!

That's how it always work's, changing the tags should fix it, if not I'll give it another look over tomorrow

That has sorted the problem! Thanks Steven :D

Good catch. I totally missed the clue on that one. The red text should have been a dead give away but since they were all red, I simply ignored it.
