CJ7 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I'm just doing basic alignments and profiles. The model and parcels look fine, but the text around the alignments, parcels and profiles are huge and jumbled. Everything looks fine in modelspace, but in paperspace it's a jumbled mess. What's wrong here? Quote
BIGAL Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 You probably need to edit your alignments, parcels and profile "styles" and set the text height, sorry an area I hate having to change so leave it to others. Quote
rustysilo Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 That would be my first guess too. Look at the styles of the problem items. If you can't figure it out post a screen grab or the dwg for us to see. Quote
BOB'27T Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 The text will always show smaller in modelspace versus paperspace until the height is set. I usually set mine at .08 or .10. Quote
CyberAngel Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 If you're using Civil 3D 2009, it may be an annotation issue. Once you've got the viewport zoomed in at the right scale, the text stays at its original height. For some reason REGEN doesn't fix it. The only way I've found to get the text to the right scale (short of closing and reopening the drawing) is to turn the viewport off and back on again. Quote
CJ7 Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Thanks for the replies everyone! I got tired of editing all the text heights and arrow sizes in the prospector tab, so I just opened the drawing up in AutoCAD 2007, and it looks great. Don't know why it should be different, but alas, it is... Quote
