yjjyjy Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I have a .DWG file and I need to export the coordinates of the points of the profile of the draw. How I can do it with AutoCAD? I specifiy that I have never used autocad before and so I ask for an explanation as clear as possible. Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 What defines a point? Is it a block or the end of a polyline or some other entity? What format would you like to see the coordinates displayed in? Quote

ReMark Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Does any of this inofrmation meet your criteria? This was done using the DATAEXTRACTION command in AutoCAD. The output can be in the form of a .xls, .csv, .mdb or .txt file. The screen shot is of a preview of the full data set I wanted to see (your choices may be different) prior to creating the .txt file. Here is a copy of the txt file. AutoCAD_file.txt Quote
