Davarn Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Okay, 1. Double click on 3d sketch10 in the browser, editing it. 2. Expand the sketch (plus mark) and right click on it. 3. Pick Break link from the right click menu. 4. While still editing. go to screen and right click. 5. Select include geometry. 6. Pick the geometry from the other 3d sketch (9). right click-OK. 7. My Inv. allowed me at this point to right click directly on the new projected circles and pick break link. 8. Now select trim from the modify panel, and Voila! Quote
Davarn Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 From your attached image above, I think that you weren't editing the sketch when you attempted to break the link. BTW, Professor Mather has some excellent tutorials that I have learn a lot from. Check out his link under his signature, when you have time. Quote
mattador04 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 I've almost got it. I think I have to start over because I broke the link on one sketch and it wouldn't let me do so on the other and now it's all messed up. But I was able to trim some. See iptBALL.ipt Quote
