Hi,

What dimension is this called? Been looking in books and within autocad but can't find it. Its a internal dimension of some sort? Where would I find it within autocad 2008?

Thanks and sorry for all these newbie questions :P

it's exactly the same one as the 30, but if there isn't enough space for the text, AutoCAD flips the text outside the dim (you can alter the settings to force inside too)

Thanks,

How can I alter the settings to force it inside? If you can point me in the right direction. I know its in the dimension style settings somewhere right?

Dimensioning variable that may force your arrowhead inside:

1) DIMGAP

2) DIMASZ

3) DIMTXT

4) DIMATFIT

Go to Help menu. "Trial and Error" is a great tool.

.. it is better that you should know both ways... keyboard and icon shortcuts, especially that you are a beginner.
