matt4 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Hi, What dimension is this called? Been looking in books and within autocad but can't find it. Its a internal dimension of some sort? Where would I find it within autocad 2008? Thanks and sorry for all these newbie questions Quote
Strix Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 it's exactly the same one as the 30, but if there isn't enough space for the text, AutoCAD flips the text outside the dim (you can alter the settings to force inside too) Quote
matt4 Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Thanks, How can I alter the settings to force it inside? If you can point me in the right direction. I know its in the dimension style settings somewhere right? Quote
totzky Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Dimensioning variable that may force your arrowhead inside: 1) DIMGAP 2) DIMASZ 3) DIMTXT 4) DIMATFIT Go to Help menu. "Trial and Error" is a great tool. Quote
mugshot Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 .. it is better that you should know both ways... keyboard and icon shortcuts, especially that you are a beginner. Quote
