Section MV parts in Autocad MEP

Recommended Posts

hi everyone, hope someone can help.

I am using Autodesk MEP 2014.

I have made an AHU by using MVparts, and am now trying to generate a section through the AHU and the associated ductwork.

The ductwork shows up fine, but the only thing that shows up for the MV part is the drain connector?

Is it possible to actually section and MVpart?

Tanner, thanks for your reply.

I had another look at this last night, found I could generate a section by using different settings within the section dialog box.

I think I was using the wrong display set up?, so I will hit the book again and see what went wrong.

The file is attached, so any advice or help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Thanks Tanner, i was playing around with this some more last night,

I found out i had used the wrong settings (display setup) in the section dialog box.

The part now shows in the section, i have attached a link to the drawing anyway, any help or comments you could offer would be greatly appreciated
