Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor. Try typing UCS at the commandline > ENTER WORLD > ENTER. That will probably get your world back on the tracks.
jcone
The UCS is set to world but all of everything that I have drawn so far in on the front plane instead of the top plane where it was when I started. Even if I am viewing everthing fron the front plane if I draw anything it will be on the top plane. It is as if i rotated everything 90 along the X axis. jcone
No luck. Here is a screen shot from the top view. Here is a screen shot from the front view
ReMark
Why don't we cut to the chase? Attach a copy of the DWG file to your next post. Someone here will take a look at it. Hurry. Let's try to get this resolved before Christmas.
jcone
here is the base floorplan. I had to strip out the PDF and some other stuff to get it below the size limit. Hope you can help. test.dwg
ReMark
That's it? All you wanted to do is rotate the floor plan so that when you were in the "top" view it appeared correctly? Here you go.... Test[ReMark].dwg
eldon
Not knowing how ReMark's drawing was created, one way that ends up with everything at an elevation of zero, is to take the East or right view. Then rotate everything about the point 0,0 by minus 90 degrees. Saves getting tangled with 3D rotate.
ReMark
I did not bring the floor plan down to an elevation of 0'-0". Is that a requirement too? OK....you got it. Test[ReMark_2].dwg
