seperating layers for frames and panels in autocad architecture

okz, its a block in my work however it won't make me stop. There are many approaches in doing amazing things in autocad. However cleverness is knowing the best approach and updating yourself in latest methods. I'll try to figure out the problem. But Remark i still haven't got your method, you've shown a-frame layer, but did it create automatically or you manually did something ?..

I created the layer manually much like I physically separated the glass from the door and window frames. But you keep plugging away at that ACAD Arch method. Eventually you may get it to work; or not.
