KennyJ
I created a Label. I created a drawing of that label. I want to dimension to some of the artwork on that label but Inventor will not allow me to create dimensions to non-model geometry without making the dimension magenta and telling me its not attached to anything. Is there a way to create dimensions that do not attach to actual model geometry without getting that error or making my dimensions all turn magenta? Essentially I'm trying to dimension to lines on an image. Edited October 24, 2013 by KennyJ Added more information
JD Mather
Sounds like you need to create as sketch in drawing and/or Project Geometry. Attach your files here.
KennyJ
Thank You JD. I don't know why I didn't think of that before posting. Pretty obvious now that you mention it. I guess I was just having one of those days haha.
