Need Help with figure prefixe database

Hi everybody,

 

I'm just running to an issue, that i can't find a solution for it. I'm setting up a figure prefixe list, but i'm having problem understanding how it works really.

 

Basically what i'm doing is : anytime i got a new coding from the field crew, i add it as a new prefixe then write under layer list a new layer name that i need Autocad to create for these specific points and also a new style name. But the problem is as soon as i import the points, Autocad doesn't create the new layer that i set up under the figure prefixe database manager but instead he put all the points and lines under layer 0.

 

please can someone give me a Hand with this. It will help a lot

I'd check drawing settings and command settings for a default.
