Please help! Every time I insert a block (dynamic or otherwise) into any drawing (I have tried several) my ucs (0,0) changes to the insertion point of that new block. I don't know what I have done, what button I have inadvertently pushed or setting that I have set, but I do not know how to undo this!

Has anyone ever heard of this?

Please help me!

I am using AutoCAD 2014.

Could you have mistaken enabled Dynamic Input? It can be toggled via at button at the bottom of your screen or by pressing the F6 key. Just a guess on my part.

I thought of that as well, but that had no affect on it.

Are you sure it is the UCS you are changing or are you inserting the block at (0,0)?
