andrewjbarnett Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'm trying to apply the honey hatch to my drawing, yet when I use the hatch, it appears as a random pattern of lines rather than the hatch I have chosen. When I change the rotation of the hatch to try and correct it, I cannot seem to find the angle which allows the hatch to appear normal. I've included a screenshot of my problem. The hatch I'm referring to is the 'EXISTING ROCK STRUCTURE' rectangle. Your help is appreciated. Quote
andrewjbarnett Posted November 25, 2008 Author Posted November 25, 2008 I did think about trying that, but for some reason thought that might not have worked. Thanks for your quick reply. I've had the same problem for a few different hatches, and all of them work perfectly now. Quote
Dipali Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 this may happen if your hatch area is not close to 0,0,0 use specified origin while doing hatch & put it closer to the rectangle you are hatching. or move your drawing closer to 0,0,0 Quote
Dipali Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 sorry while typing i got busy with something & when posted didn't see someone laready suggested the same thing. have a look at this one & try the method mentioned in last post http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11342&highlight=hatch+origin Quote
