Not much to work with there anil. How about attaching an actual DWG file to your next post?

Are you working in metric units? What scale are you expecting to use?

Are you familiar with viewport scaling?

Delete existing viewport

-go to page setup and setup new page for printing

-create new viewport (_-vports enter for default "Fit")

-select viewport

-open properties (ctrl+1)

-change standard scale to suit.

I'd suggest creating a separate and distinct layer for your viewport(s) and make sure the layer is set to "no print" in your Layer Properties Manager.

anil: Do you know how to set a viewport's scale?

BTW...your image shows you are using AutoCAD 2007 and not Mech 2009. Is that what you'll be sticking with for the time being?

anil: You have attached an image which is not the same as an actual drawing file. Furthermore, you have neglected to answer almost all the questions I have asked thus far. It is difficult to assist a person when they refuse to provided the necessary information.

Well it seems at least you have the building within your viewport so what is the exact problem here? Have you set the scale yet? If so, what scale did you use?

Here is a link to something I wrote about Viewports and setting their scale (images included) you might also find useful...

It was not immediately apparent that you had the drawing at the desired scale.

Do you have any further questions regarding viewports?

So, what's next? Have you printed out your drawing(s)?
