mwade93 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 I have several custom CUIx files loaded into AutoCAD at any given time and all but one of them work fine with no issues. However, one of them has the pull down disappear each time I make an edit in the CUI. There are three strange issues with this 1)This is the only menu that this happens to 2)There is a toolbar and a pull down on this menu and nothing happens to the toolbar and 3)When I reload my workspace it comes back perfectly fine. Is there a way to fix this because it is just really annoying? Quote
Tuns Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 That sounds really odd... It may just be an issue with AutoCAD that can't be fixed. Sometimes when I edit my CUI my toolbars move around instead of staying where I have them set. Quote
mwade93 Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 That's what I was figuring but I was hoping I was wrong. At least it isn't anything major wrong, everything is still 100% functional. I just made a shortcut menu with a button to reset my workspace. Quote
Tuns Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Sounds like a good solution to me. At least until someone provides an answer if there is one. Quote
mwade93 Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 Again, its just a nuisance more than anything. Quote
steven-g Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I have a similar problem, I have a workspace setup with properties palette, LA manager and Design center anchored to the left of my screen (in that order top to bottom) and tool palettes to the right, ribbon off, menu off, command line off, and no toolbars. Throughout the day I find that the properties palette has shifted down to the bottom of the list. So I also have a macro that swaps workspaces and then back which fixes the issue, but it's really annoying I've tried resaving the workspace even creating a new workspace with the same layout, but it still happens. I have noticed that it happens when I open an existing drawing (not everytime, and never when I start a new drawing) I thought the workspace was a global feature I haven't noticed if it is only certain drawings that trigger it, it could be a drawing based variable that is causing it. Maybe I'll try and keep a log of drawings that cause it. Quote
