Cad64 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Hit the "8" key on your keyboard to open the "Environment and Effects" dialog and try adjusting your "Exposure Control". http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-E1A6D466-CABB-4C8A-97A9-0C191C69F9BD.htm,topicNumber=d30e461220 Quote
spittle Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Why don't you use the vray frame buffer? You can adjust the exposure in real time from the frame buffer. Quote
niegrau Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 try to use a Daylight (command pannel>> create >> systems) after setting, on the viewport select the Light Source and go to the the modifier panel then set VraySun as the sunlight. Press Yes for the effects so to automatically let it set the skylight, and after that you will need to set the Skylight to none. just below the sunlight in the modifications. this system simulates real world coloring of sky and sun light. so according to the time you set, it will change the color of sky as well. if you get blown light image press 8 and choose vray exposure and go on... P.S. this system is a GI based, so in rendering setup, have your GI enabled ! Quote
