Hello!

I'm using annotative scales. But for example line type scale will also change when I change annotative scale. How can I turn that off.

Cheers!

I don't know much about annotative scales, don't use them.

However, look at the attached image, and see if that might be the variable you are after.

I think you have SYSVDLG in 2008, if so that is a good place to search for the variable, if this isn't the one.

Annotative scaling was introduced in AutoCAD 2008. Annotative objects include text, dimensions, blocks and hatches.

Linetype scale is independent of annotative scaling.

Linetype scale, although it is a separate setting, is affected by annotative scale. The appearance of linetypes changes according to scale. It does that so that the same linetype looks the same on paper at any scale. I don't think there is a way to not have it change when changing scales. You may want top look into working through viewports and the VPMax command. I understand your question but if you explain why you would like to do what you are asking, we may be able to help.

There is no need to attach a file. Just explain your situation in a little more detail. If you think it will help, click on "Go Advanced" on this page and then go to the manage attachments section.

Yes, that is the way annotative scaling works. Please read post #6 again, carefully.
