Baber62 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Hi Folks, I have got points from a GIS software into AutoCAD, the problem is that I am unable to draw a polyline between the points to get a distance between the points. Does someone have a lisp routine which can convert the points to make them selectable. I have attached the drawing I am working on for those of you who want to have a go at this one. Thanks in advance. Gullies.dwg Quote
lamensterms Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Gday mate, I'm sorry I don't have the ability to access your DWG (no CAD on the PC I'm currently using). But is it not possible to snap the the POINTs using the NODE snap? Quote
eldon Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 These Points are in the default shape of a dot. Change the point shape as in this thread, and you can snap to them using the Node snap. No lisp is needed at this stage Quote
Baber62 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Thanks Eldon ... that did the trick, appreciated. Quote
