F8 key doesn't work

Hi,

I can't use F8 key for Ortho mode in Auto Cad 2012. I checked CUI and it seems to be ok but when I press the F8 key It doesn't work. as matter of fact, after pressing F8 key, line type manager window is opened!!!! Ican't work and it makes me crazy. HELP HELP

I can't use the PrtSc key too.And there is no key on keyboard for turning on/off Keys. what can I do?

Does Ortho toggle ON/OFF when you click the Ortho button on the status bar?

Does Ortho toggle ON/OFF when you press the F8 key?

 

 

Does F7 turn the GRID ON/OFF

It sounds like Fn Lock is turned on (similar to CapLock & NumLock) Is there an indicator for that on your keyboard?

I checked, didn't work even when Ortho was on!

Have you tried swapping keyboards?

Reset your Profile and see if that makes a difference.

Can you turn Ortho on/off using the status bar toggle instead of F8?

 

Does F7 work to turn the grid on/off?

 

Did F8 work previously or is this a new computer?
