Talwaar Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Hello all. I've lurked here for some time absorbing knowledge from various threads. I have finally run into a problem that I don't think the existing knowledge base covers. Here is my issue: I am attempting to create a circle keynote. The circle part of the keynote shall resize itself according to the width of the text in a fashion similar to how the TCIRCLE command draws a circle around text. I've banged my head against the wall all day trying to get this to work with dynamic blocks, but it is beyond me. Any help would be greatly appreciated Quote
Mike_Taylor Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 I have looked into this as well and could not find a solution using AutoCAD out of the box. There is likely a LISP routine out there that could do it. Quote
tzframpton Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 A dynamic block would easily accomplish what you're after with some simple Point Parameters, Linear Length Parameters and the corresponding Actions applied, along with Attributes for the textual values. But in my personal opinion, using a pre-defined circle/oval block as a Multileader is the best bet. Sure, you might has some empty space on shorter callout bubbles but I prefer functionality over ticky-tacky details. Just personal opinion is all!! Quote
