simongc2 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Hi I've managed to open a viewport in paper space of my overall drawing which is great, but I want to zoom in on that viewport to create multiple layouts of the same drawing but as zoomed in sections. When I zoom in the model overlaps over the drawing title block, I expected it to be behind the title block if that makes sense?? Quote
JD Mather Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Sounds like you want to lock that viewport and then create addition viewports. All viewports should be created such that they never overlap the drawing title block. Can you attach an example file here? Quote
simongc2 Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 Hi Thankyou for the reply, i've taken a screen shot of what it looks like when zoom in to create my required view, its as if the title block is transparent Quote
simongc2 Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 I wonder if its because when I created the viewport I selected 'Fit' from the tool bar which I guess puts the viewport across the whole sheet Quote
nestly Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Yes, "Fit" will create the largest possible viewport that will fit within the printable area of the paper. Since your title block is full length, just switch to Papespace, select the viewport, grab one of the grips on the right and resize it. Quote
