hatch for internal threads (sliding screw)

I need to show the material SAE 1045 Heat Treat for an internal screw on a 2D drawing. It is for a sliding screw, and I'm not sure if I'm suppose to put a hatch on the 2D drawing or something else.

Since you are creating a 2D drawing and not a 3D drawing I think using a hatch pattern makes more sense. Materials are often used on 3D drawings that are ultimately going to be rendered.
