SLW210 Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I found a traffic tracker, now I need a decent Spam blocker recommendation, prefer it to be open source. For now I have set up to require registration before commenting and set up all comments to require approval. If Spam still gets through I'll want a backup plan. This is a business site, so Askimet will charge me. Quote
lifedreamer Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 SLW210 what kind of website you use , is it CMS ? Quote
SLW210 Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 My home page is Wordpress, it came with the hosting, wife liked it, so it has stayed for now. We have an OpenCart store behind the Home Page. I plan on replacing the Wordpress page at some point, with a custom. It just gets lots of spam hits, but 3D Captcha and requiring registration approval, has really put a clamp down on spammers ability to post. This week, I had 4 spammers register through the 3D Captcha and had to deny registration, that's been it since I made this post in June. Still it is best to learn HTML and CSS and customize that way. Especially OpenCart. Quote
SLW210 Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 It is not relevant to CAD. My wife makes and sells homemade soaps, bath salts and lotions, etc. made from all natural and/or organic ingredients. Quote
