Infrastructure Design Suite 2014

Hello,

Are there any plans to create a forum based on IDS 2014? Possibly related to program interactions and design flow.

Regards,

Phil

Isn't IDS (and its tiers) just a fancy new name for bundling and selling different software packages such as Civil 3D, AutoCad & Revit together?

Yes, it is. I inquired about the forum with the idea of it being a place for people to post questions/solutions related to the manipulation of data between the programs as opposed to having to navigate multiple forums for answers.

Happy to provide a forum for this if you think it would be popular. Could you give some examples of how it would be used?

I don't see that as a good idea. It would be unnecessary forums to have a branded suite as a forum. But there are many new Autodesk products that are apart of standard suite packages that do not have their own forum at CADTutor.net so maybe it at least constitutes an assessment on this? Programs like Navisworks, Showcase, etc.

Just thinking out loud is all.

A Navisworks sub forum is a good idea.
