dbroada Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 does anybody have a lisp that can be used to append to a text object? I've had a quick check and can't find anything quickly. I have a routine adaptable from VBA already but I'm trying to get away from VBA at the moment and thought somebody might have something already. I need to append a few specified characters to an existing set of text objects. The objects should be selected as a group or individually. before after 1-TB01-01 1-TB01-01/A 1-TB01-02 1-TB01-02/A 1-TB01-03 1-TB01-03/A Where /A is the appended text but should be operator selectable. TIA. Quote
ReMark Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Dave: Give this one a shot and see if it does what you want. The command to run it is psfixtxt. psfixtxt.lsp.txt Quote

dbroada Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 I really intend to close my request out but once they're no longer on the "New Posts" button I forget them so quickly. Lee, I WILL look at your reply but Mark's link kept my boss happy instantly. Quote
