Auto Desk Inventor - creating a mesh/wireframe over a scan and extruding

Hello,

 

Im looking to create some sort of quick wireframe over a mould i already have in inventor and extruding it by 2mm all over. does anyone know if this is possible?

In the original or you what?

 

If you just want the Thicken the original then Thicken/Offset.

 

If you are trying to create a skin/shell/envelope then

Start a new file.

Manage>Derive Component and select the original and bring in as surface body.

Then Thicken/Offset.
