ReMark Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Isn't there a button in the lower left hand corner of your screen for both 2D and 3D views? Quote
Murph_map Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I don't think AUD had 3D blocks, it didn't a few versions ago. Quote
Murph_map Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 AUD 2014 apparently does. So it does. http://www.autodesk.com/content/dam/autodesk/www/products/autodesk-autocad-utility-design/videos/3d-model-based-design-video-1152x648.flv Quote

Murph_map Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I tried to open this page but the message is page not found can u tell me Youtube address for the slide. Try this page http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad-utility-design/overview Also do you have a 3d surface in the project yet? Quote
kulfi Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 i do not have any surface in the project what you mean? Quote
ReMark Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 The surface would define the lay of the land so to speak. Quote
kulfi Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 So, you means if i lay the surface than all my objects will be elevated? Quote
ReMark Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Do you have a flat site or are there changes in elevation? It sounds to me as though you are new to this. Have you taken the opportunity to view the Trial Experience Tutorials posted at the AutoDesk website? Which version of the product are you using? Quote
kulfi Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Yes i have seen all the Videos on the Autodesk Site. thanks Quote
kulfi Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Not Yet Can you provide me the training or assistance. thanks Quote
ReMark Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Unfortunately I cannot. I would suggest that you or your employer contact your local authorized AutoDesk reseller and inquire or go online at the AutoDesk website and do a search on training facilities where you are located. It would be a worthwhile investment. Quote
kulfi Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Thanks we have contacted the authorized Autodesk dealer and Europe and in USA i do not why they are not ready to deliver BIM trainings. Quote
Murph_map Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 So, you means if i lay the surface than all my objects will be elevated? It will "drap" the objects over the surface when you click the 3D view button on the status line, it does not change the elevation property (z) of the objects. Quote
