Retroshank Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Hi, I have been using AutoCAD windows for 15 years but recently purchased AutoCAD Lt 2013 for Mac. I am doing some contract work for a company who have their own plot style (ctb file) that I need to use. I can't work out how to insert it into the Mac version. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 You'll have to locate the folder (if that is what they are called on the Mac) where the default CTB and STB files that ship with AutoCAD are located. Is there an "Options" command in that version? This discussion should give you a general idea. Note that the thread is from 2010. http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-for-Mac/Adding-a-CTB-File-in-Autocad-for-Mac/td-p/2799106 Quote
Retroshank Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 I found and added it there but it is not showing up in my plotstyles when I go to plot. Quote
Retroshank Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 I saw that post but it doesn't seem to help. Not sure if it is because I am using a different version.. Quote
ReMark Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 A slightly different path re: version number but it should work. Try again. Quote
Retroshank Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 Turns out the ctb file I was trying to insert was corrupt. I redownloaded it and now it is working. Thanks for your help!! Quote
ReMark Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Glad to hear you got it figured out. You're entirely welcomed. Quote
