atn Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Normaly I could use properties to change color's. Now the color "box" stays grey. Also in old drawings where it used to work it does not work anymore. Quote
ReMark Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Attach a copy of a DWG file that is exhibiting this strange behavior to your next post and someone here will take a look at it. Quote
atn Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Here a file with two lines. Problem is at all files I open. problem change color.dwg Quote
ReMark Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Works fine for me. Here is what I did... I changed the color of the layer itself from white to red with no problem. I then overrode the layer color and changed one of the lines from red to yellow. Again, no problem. Quote
Tyke Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I tried it on two machines here, both running AutoCAD 2010 and like ReMark it works fine. Try WBLOCK'ing the lines in the drawing and open the DWG produced and see it that changes anything. Quote
atn Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Since the problem occurs inevery file I have created and also files I have received the problem must be inmy AutoCAD and not in the files itself. Have seen some similarquestion on the web but never seen a solution. Using WBLOCK did not change the problem. When nothing is selected ina drawing the colour selection is possible in "properties". The pulldown menu appears with the colours. As soon as I select an object or line thepull down menu disappears. Quote
ReMark Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 And when did this all start happening? Have you tried changing or resetting your Profile? Have you tried a REPAIR of AutoCAD? BTW...did you ever download and install the service packs for 2010? Quote
atn Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 I have done a repair now it works again! Thanks for the quick response. Quote
