Custom Scale

Hi. I have an old hand drawn drawing, that I'm drawing into autocad. I'm drawing it 1 to 1 in model space. In the layout I was wanting to make a custom scale. The original drawing was drawn 3/4"-1'-0", so I was wanting that same scale for my autocad dwg. I went into Custom and did 1 paper to 0.75 dwg unit. I printed it on d-size and the objects aren't big enough. It didn't match up with the original hand drawing. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

It sounds like you are trying to scale the plot rather than scale the paperspace layout viewport.

Model always 1:1 (parts are parts)

Plot always 1:1 (paper sheet is paper sheet)

If you have, in fact, set a custom viewport scale - attach the file here (don't need any geometry in the file).

This image shows where to change - not the actual scale value for your need.

BTW - it is rather astonishing how many of these questions could be answered by looking at a simple dwg example that exhibits the problem behavior, yet how infrequently the file is included with the question.
