ekerstein Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Hello -- i'm relatively new to autocad and haven't been able to find any information about a topic i'm interested in. I'm looking for any tutorials or commands that would help create the type of complex geometries in the links below. I'm particularly interested in creating 3d patterns/tessellations across surfaces. Can anyone assist, or point me in the right direction? http://www.3ders.org/images/TwistedTruss3_OW.jpg http://www.3ders.org/images/Concrete-Platter_LR1.jpg Thanks -- much appreciated. Quote
SLW210 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Is it possible to post your image directly to CADTutor? At lower right of Reply box select "Go Advanced" then select "Manage Attachments". Quote
ReMark Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Not sure if AutoCAD is the program you should be using. Quote
ekerstein Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Attached images. FYI -- those are 3d printed objects, not renders. ReMark: that's what I've recently heard from other people as well. Looking into 3DS Max at the moment. Quote
