darrellk-1 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Okay, this is a new one for me. I am running the antique CAD 2004 and went to layouts to start setting up a page. When I drew in the view port, it does not show anything of the model space, zero, zip, nada. Tried "Scale to fit", a new view port with no luck. I opened another project file, it work perfectly, just not this one. It doesn't have any Xref's that I can see, but it does have some proxy objects. Anyone have a answer, please? Quote
darrellk-1 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 As a note, I copied the entire model space drawing into another new drawing and the view ports work fine. Just weird, and I am just interested in anyone's take on why it wouldn't work in the original drawing. Quote
rkent Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Almost always this is due to one or more objects a long way from the main model. In MS you can use erase, all, the hold shift and window around the model (this removes your model from the selection set), hit enter. Anything not in the window you formed will be erased. Try zoom, extents, and then go to your viewport in PS and also Zoom Extents. Quote
