Hello,

I have this problem with joining grades with different slopes. As seen from the image, the left side grade have a slope of 0.36:1 and the right side is 1:1.How can i join them so that my grading would close. I have attached an image to further explain what i am trying to accomplish.

I am using Civil 3D 2011.

Thank you all.

I know that if your feature line is entire perimeter of your surface you can have differnet slopes throughout that feature line. If you are grading to your existing surface, you will select the feature line then the side to grade to, then if promts "apply to entire length", if you enter NO then you can specify where you want to start grading along that feature line, then the end point of that grading, then you enter your slopes grade. After that you can specify another new start point, ending point and slope. Hope that helps.
