sweiss Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 The CTRL+ (function key) does the same thing as hitting the Fn key + the (function key) = toggles the osnap or ortho. At least that works. I'll try to see about altering the BIOS..... Quote
mostafa badran Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I think is the Solution in CUI in shortcut Key you can see the attachment Quote
rkent Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 The OP is using 2004 so the CUI is not a solution. HP has the F keys defined for their product, editing the BIOS brings the F keys back to their original settings for windows. Quote
mostafa badran Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 oops I did not take into account he use 2004 Quote
sweiss Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 Hey there. Well I edited the BIOS dealiemajig, and disabling the function keys REALLY just means that you have to hit the Fn key in combination with the function keys to get them to do what HP wanted them to do. This frees the function keys to perform the function that AutoCAD intended, and I checked, and it works. I am a very very happy person. Thank you to everyone - and particularly rkent and ReMark - for all your help. Quote
