get objects properties

I am trying to clean up some old drawings. Among other things, I would need a routine (in VBA) that would get the list of all objects in a drawing and all their properties.

I think your approaching in the wrong way a dwg with 30,000 objects ?

 

Rather is what your trying to do is stuff like make certain object to say Bylayer or change layer properties ? Easier to work on collections all my blocks called ABC do this.
