3D model of a timber roof frame

Hi all,

 

Does anyone on here have, or know where I could download, a 3D model of a timber roof frame in .dwg format?

The type of frame I'm after is a hip/valley system, similar to the system described in the attached pic, but must also include all of the internal members (i.e. underpurlins, struts, ceiling members etc.)

 

 

Will be using it to train new staff to help them visualize the members and how the whole structure ties together.

You could try over at the CAD Block Exchange Network for starters or you could just draw it yourself.

Thanks daniel, that's an excellent model and exactly the kind of thing i'm after.

The only thing wrong is that the member arrangements are different to what we use here in Aus, so unfortunately I can't actually use it to train

Well, you have the CAD file, so edit as needed.
