Bampmp Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If my scale is 1"=40' and my drawing scale factor is 480 what is my zoom, xp scale in paper space? Quote
rkent Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 1/480XP assuming model is 1 unit = 1 inch, if model is 1 unit = 1 foot then 1/40XP. If you draw a line 6" long by entering 6 then your assumed units are 1 inch, if you draw a 6" line by entering .5 then your assumed units are in feet. Quote
ReMark Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If you were using AutoCAD 2000 then I would see the necessity of using the nXP scale factor option but you are using the latest edition of AutoCAD and there are at least three other ways to set the viewport scale that do not involve figuring out the right scale factor.
