Is there a way to get Plot Stamp to work on a PDF file?

Thanks

In the Plot dialog box, expand the right side and select Plot Stamp on.

I use my own Plot stamp made of text and fields.

Plot Stamp On is standard on all my printed drawings but it does not appear on a dwg saved as PDF- at least not on my computer. ACAD 2013 SP 1, Windows 7 64 bit

Is there a way to turn on a spell checker on this forum?

Works fine here. Did you check the advanced feature of plot stamp edit?

Are you using DWG to PDF.pc3?

Can you post screen shots of the Plot dialog box?

What browser are you using? Might find a spellchecker for your browser.

Here is the screen shot of what looks to me like a plain vanilla Plot Stamp

The browser is Firefox 2013-03-08 09_56_12-AutoCAD 2013 - [C__ENGINEERING_COATES _ FULTON ENGINE INFO_GEAR BLANK.dwg].jpg

Click the button with the rubber stamp icon and check your settings.

Firefox should have a spell checker, maybe it is turned off.

All the info that I want is printed on regular plots, File Name & Path, date, time, company name my name etc. but not on PDF prints. Maybe I am too close to the Hudson River or something.

And I am not sure why Firefox would spell check what is being typed on this forum. It doesn't do that on all the other forums I frequen. As far as I know it only checks my outgoing emails.

Just a thought: could it be some kind of scaling issue? Could it be that the plot stamp info is landing outside of the printable area on the pdf plot?

check in advanced settings of plot stamp setting wether the "offset relative to printable area" is ticked

It was not and now it is and now plotstamp works in a PDF.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Firefox and google chrome both can spellcheck anything typed while using them, if the options are set.

Check your pdf offset. Occasionally the drawing image in the pdf is further off to one side than it should be. Select another margin for the plot stamp position or play with the page set up offset.
