f700es
Pretty slick unit. Very fast too, as it says up to 6 D (36x24) sheets a minute. Prints and copies in gray scale but scans in color.
f700es
And yes, I can plot from a mobile device in iOS or Android
ReMark
No color printing capability? I would have thought that would be a must have feature. What did something like that cost? I'm looking at replacing both an inkjet printer (color capable) and an engineering copier (Xerox 3030) with something that would do both jobs so I guess I need to add scanning to the feature list. I'm figuring $6,000-$8,000.
f700es
Yeah, the color version was $65K this one was $17K. We still have our HP 800PS plotter for color needs. The HP is fine except when we need to run a half-size set which will always be B&W. We had planned to replace the HP with the color unit but that was denied from the capital request list but this one was not.
ReMark
Too rich for our tastes! LoL We need something strictly for in-house use. No clients to impress.

SLW210
Our HP Z6200 came in Friday. 17 secs per D size sheet in draftmode color. I know it's fast in color, haven't ran any B&W yet. We will probably be replacing the Copier/Scanner next.

SLW210
Takes longer for the ink to dry than plot (I'll probably disable the dry time). I used to have time to sip on some coffee while the old DJ5500 plotted B&W. Supposed to do full color image on glossy D size in ~2 minutes, thinking about wasting some glossy and timing it on some aerials. We just ran off some B&W aerials on glossy two weeks ago, I told them to wait for the new plotter, but nooooooo.
