Create an arc.

 

Extrude the arc (now you have a Surface).

 

Use the SLICE command with the SURFACE option to slice the object that passes through your arch.

 

Erase the portion you don't want after doing the above.

 

Done.

You first have to create an arc (note red arrow) that will then be extruded to form a surface used to slice away the geometry we don't want.

Looks like you need to presspull the hole through the top.
