Complex linetype shape vs text spacing

I have created a custom linetype using a shape & also added text. I have tried countless combinations to have a different spacing for the text, without affecting the frequency of the shape.

 

I want there to be no space between the shape, just repeating.

But I want the text to display only once for every 4 times the shape repeats.

Is this at all possible?

 

Every time I change the text spacing, I get huge gaps in the between the shape and it seems that their spacing cannot be independently controlled.

Basically I am trying to achieve the shape appearing like the first line and the text to appear like the second line. I am having trouble achieving both in 1 linetype.

No, I would like the shape to reoccur 4x for every one time that the text appears.

Also, I do not want a space in between the shape, I want the long dash to start and end with no gap, hence making the long dash twice as long as the original shape.

 

From the picture I sent, I would like the line to look exactly like it does in the top case, but the text to appear less frequently.

 

I want a different spacing for the shape than I do for the text within the same line.

Perhaps you could set up two linetypes, one with the shape and one with the text, and combine them using a Multiline

Seems a bit redundant I think....

I was hoping to just use 1 linetype to achieve both.
