MVa12 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Hello my helpful friends. Two easy ones today, hoping I can get some assistance. How do you create these two objects? 1. Is this just polylines or some basic function that I'm missing? 2. I believe these are callout symbols, im not positively certain though. Is this a block/object that comes with AutoCAD? Sorry if im not using the correct terms. FYI I am using AutoCAD 2013. Thanks in advance!!! Quote
ReMark Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 You will have to create an attributed block in order to mimic the arrow with the enclosed text. Quote
MVa12 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Hi ReMark, Thank you for the reply. Simple enough.. I will go ahead and do that. As for the first image, what tools should i use to create that curved line/indicator? Quote
ReMark Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Curved line indicator? You mean the "cloud"? Quote
MVa12 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 To the right of the cloud; the curved line indicator. Im so sorry if it's a simple question Quote
Organic Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Curved line indicator? You mean the "cloud"? I think he meant the curly bracket. Personally I'd just be creating the above stuff manually using polylines and making it into a block. Then make the curly bracket from a couple of splines. Quote
ReMark Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I wouldn't even bother. I'd used DText to make the bracket and size it accordingly. How many times do you find yourself needing one? Anyway, that diagram looks like it was done in something other than AutoCAD. Kind of reminds me of a flowchart program. Quote
MVa12 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Thanks ReMark, that's a great idea. I'll use DText. Quote
