There is no drawing attached to your post. Can't work on something if we don't have it.

Up to my knowledge, the blocks group inserted using MINSERT command cannot be exploded. The workaround that I see is to note the spacing between those instances (rows, respectively columns) , mark the location of the reference point (that it, insertion point of the group) and use it to re-insert the block (use INSERT command this time). This is possible since its definition exists in drawing’s database. Next step explode it and use ARRAY command to recreate the group.

PS. I believe you are talking about AutoCAD 2010 and not 10...

Can brand new members attach files? I'm thinking the answer is No.

A lot of users may not even know there was a Release 10!

Well, if you're thinking it's now Yes, then I would think others should think it too.

I seem to recall that it wasn't when I joined--like a five post barrier at that time and smth about trying to avoid the wrong kind of attachments, though perhaps it could be gotten around with permission even then. Anyway, glad to know there's no barrier.

We... trying to avoid the wrong kind of attachments, ....

Wrong kind of hyperlinks is the problem.

*.dwg files are pretty innocuous.

You are confusing attaching files with inserting hyperlinks.
