3rdElle Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 My node for a particular drawing is appearing extremely large. I recall there being a set variable to adjust this, but I cant seem to find it. Please advise. Thank you, Lisette Quote
ReMark Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) Are you thinking of PDSIZE? Sets the display size for point objects. Edited December 17, 2012 by ReMark Quote
Dana W Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 You may be looking at an exploded block or a dxf file. Points tend to get rather big if you do a regen while zoomed out a little bit off of them. The further back you are the bigger they appear. AutoCad thinks you NEED to find them right away. Just this morning I opened a dxf in a dwg of a Hawa powered pocket door system and there were roughly 300 points, each a center of a screw or shaft. and they were about 10 feet in diameter, all overlapping. They were all centered in a 3" area. I didn't need 'em, so I just deleted them all. Quote
troggarf Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 DDPTYPE is a command that lets you controls what type of Points are displayed and their size which is controlled by the PDMODE and PDSIZE system variables. This can be launched in the command line or found on the Home tab > Utilities panel (dropdown)... Also note that the size can be an absolute size or relative to your screen Quote
