lucas1 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Can anyone give me a simple, straight-forward way to find the delta angle of an arc? I know the length and radius. Thanks in advance for any help I can get. Quote
SLW210 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Arc Length/Radius = Angle (in Radians). (Radians x 180)/Pi = Angle in Degrees See if THIS helps. Quote

lucas1 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 Thanks everyone. I appreciate the help! I've used alot of the info here and I gotta say it's been VERY helpful. I am in the Penn Foster Drafting w/ AutoCad program and it seems everyone has the same exact questions I've had. I've made it to the civil drafting project and am sure I'll be asking more questions. ReMark Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Is that Project 6 the one with the driveway and residence? Quote
lucas1 Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Yes. Ocean Avenue. I'm on plate 2 and having trouble with the cut and fill. I understand the concept but not the method. I am probably mistaken but I feel like not enough info is given with the instructions. Edited December 11, 2012 by lucas1 Quote
ReMark Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Welcome to the wonderful world of Penn-Foster. I suggest that you start a new thread in the Student Project Questions sub-forum under AutoCAD Beginner's Area. You might want to mention the project name in the title of the thread. I'll look for it there. Quote
